The rose is not just a flower. It is a long-lasting symbol that has accompanied humanity from ancient civilizations to the present day. It spreads not only a fragrance, but also a story - about love, the grandeur of manors, the subtlety of nature. The educational program invites participants to an exclusive acquaintance with the history of this flower, its importance and beauty, revealed through sensations, memories and creativity.
During the session, we will embark on a story about the origin of roses, their cultivation in Lithuanian manors, their symbolic significance in culture and artistic expression. We will learn how roses were used in the past – from perfumery to healing mixtures – and how they fit into modern creative processes. In the practical part, participants will make candles from natural beeswax, enriched with delicate rose aromas. This is more than learning a craft. It is an opportunity to touch creativity, express yourself, awaken your imagination and discover a new hobby.
The goal of the activity is not only to teach, but also to inspire: to encourage a return to naturalness, to the value of handmade work, to what is real and sincere. Participants will develop their senses - smell, touch, aesthetic vision, and most importantly - they will take away not only their own candle, but also a brighter relationship with nature, beauty, and themselves.
